This is Julie Creus  (Cray-oos)  and I am the founder and head honcho at La Todera Sewing and Craft Patterns.

Are you ready to sew something different today?  Then you are in the right place!  I'm here for ya, because that's what I do here at La Todera- create unique projects to sew, and maybe more importantly- write and illustrate instructions to most clearly and concisely explain how to make said projects!

La Todera specializes in 3D projects such as pincushions, purses, fabric flowers, unique pillows, potholders, and fabric jewelry.

I'm a mad scientess of sewing, creating patterns that stretch the limits of fabric. I relish in making fabric do amazing things!

I've been sewing most of my life, but quilting and sewing truly became a love of mine while living a decade in Buenos Aires, Argentina...Where the needle skills are amazing, the aesthetic is cosmopolitan, but supplies are sometimes limited. The perfect 'laboratory' for using one's imagination and resources available to create what you have in mind!  

It's there that I really started putting together my sewing, teaching, and graphic design skills.

I love to teach and share my creations, and publishing patterns has become an ideal way to share the love!
