One of the most satisfying sewing craft projects I can think of are pincushions. Quick to make, functional, decorative, and great for gift giving!
Really, there is no end to the possibilities for DIY pincushion patterns. Lots of room for creativity, as well as crossover to other hobbies! For example- know anyone that loves sewing AND gardening? Make them a flower pincushion! Need a holiday gift? How about a Christmas pincushion or Halloween pincushion?
